I haven't really taken care of myself much in the last several years because I've been pregnant and lazy. However, it's nice to dress up once in a while and try to look alive. If you know me, you know that all I care to wear are t-shirts, sweats, gym shorts, and whatever comfy stuff I have in my closet. But wearing those clothes year-after-year with a huge baby bump made me feel sloppy and ugly.
After having baby Ezra this passed June, I decided treat and embrace my current self. Some of my favorite pieces I bought so far are my new camel coat, cowboy boots, and these black, pleated pants! I also finally wore my rust-colored, over-sized coat that has been sitting in my closet because my baby bump was too big to make it look cute.
Below is a picture of me clearly trying to detangle my hair. The whole "hair falling out after giving birth" is happening to me now so this is actually a picture of me pulling hair to make the process faster. Just kidding.
Did I mention that I'm actually pregnant again and baby number four is expected next summer? Call me old-school, but I want a lot of kids and I especially want them to be close in age. Dressing up and being in front of the camera was a nice treat for myself. Now, I can proudly shove my new clothes into the closet until the next child is born.
