Alex and Ethan had a French country-inspired wedding on the most gorgeous summer day. Their theme was a soft summer color palette filled with muted tones of marigold, mauve, and sky blue floral blooms, all designed on top of a neutral and textural base. Everything was perfectly executed for this stunning Edgewater wedding.
The bridesmaids wore the cutest dresses which were paired with soft floral bouquets by Daffodil*Parker.
Below is what Cherry Blossom Events‘ owner and creative director had to say about the design.
“It was the color palette for me with this one! The bride asked for a French Country wedding and at Cherry Blossom Events we are always thinking how can we make it different, something we haven’t seen before. Working in the rattan and cane elements in a modern and subtle way felt like the perfect move for this bride who wanted the most intentional and subtle details woven in. We love the marigold and sky blue with hints of mauve for this fresh take on a summer palette that felt light and airy yet timeless.”
The bridal entrance. Alex entered the wedding processional on her own and then met with her parents in the middle of the aisle as they all walked towards the chuppah.
We adored these candid moments as friends and family enjoyed heartfelt vows.
After the ceremony, wedding guests enjoyed drinks and lovely conversations at a custom bar, overlooking a sunset on Lake Mendota.
