Grand Island Mansion is a historic landmark in Sacramento, California. We had the honor of photographing the wedding of fashion blogger, Lily of Hello Darling Blog.
One way to make your wedding feel personal is to add elements that are special to who you are. Lily and James incorporated Persian traditions that added a touch of uniqueness. Lily said, “One of our favorite parts was incorporating Persian wedding traditions – the ceremony was a perfect combination of us as a couple as well as some special traditions to help sweeten our marriage.” Other details of their wedding included a vintage wedding getaway car, a candlelit reception, and a fun evening of dancing.
Quite honestly, wedding fashion always excites us and Lily surely stepped up her game. She wore a stunning Berta gown with Jimmy Choo’s on her feet for the bulk of the day. Berta gowns are some of my favorites and let’s not even begin with the Jimmy Choo’s. Her wedding hairstyle was perfectly executed and her makeup was on point. Guess who geeked out when she changed into her second look for the reception – us. She came out in a Rime Arodaky dress and looked so chic and stunning. I have a fangirl confession: I am a huge fan of Rime and her husband, Greg Finck, and Lily’s outfit had me all giddy inside. They are two of my biggest inspirations in my journey. Cheers to a stylish wedding at Grand Island Mansion.
